<p>　　罗念生是我国著名的古希腊文学翻译家。罗念生致力于这项工作长达60年，翻译出版的译文和专著达五十余种，近千万字，为希腊文化在中国的传播贡献了巨大力量。《罗念生全集》除收录了罗念生的精彩译文（文评、文学、小说、诗歌、散文、寓言等）以及相关研究论文外，还包括他自己创作的散文诗歌以及和友人间的通信、纪念文章等。《全集》共十卷（另补卷），共有三百五十万言，可谓是洋洋大观。</p>
